New site for Holsworthy Branch Apiary
In September 2010 Holsworthy Beekeepers, on behalf of Devon Beekeepers Association
reached an agreement with the National Trust to lease a small paddock and part of the Coach House at Dunsland House.
The aim of the Beekeepers and the Trust is to develop the site as a new Branch
teaching apiary and store/education room. There is a great deal of work to be carried
out on both the paddock and outbuilding to make it a useful Branch resource but the potential
is huge.
Here are some photos of the results of the hard work that has taken place since the branch took
over part of Dunsland. The latest ones show the official opening of the club house and store room.
The photos are in reverse date order.
